A large-scale concert titled “Rolling Coconut Review Japan,” held to support the conservation of marine mammals such as dolphins, took place from April 8 to 10, 1977, at the Harumi International Trade Center in Tokyo. I formed a group of photographers called "Fisheye ’77" and took photographs documenting the event. Through that connection, in April of the following year, I joined a group traveling to India—including Tadanori Yokoo and Haruomi Hosono as a photographer. After returning to Japan, the LP album "Cochin Moon*" featuring songs composed by Haruomi Hosono and performed by the Yellow Magic Band, was released; the album cover was a collage created by Tadanori Yokoo using photographs I had taken of Indian movie posters.
イルカなどの海洋哺乳類保護運動を支援する、大がかりなコンサート「ローリング・ココナッツ・レヴュー・ジャパン」が1977年4月8日～10日、東京・晴海国際貿易センターで開催された。私は Fisheye '77 という写真家グループを結成してその記録写真を撮った。その縁で翌年4月、カメラマンとして横尾忠則、細野晴臣らのインド旅行団に加わった。帰国後、細野晴臣が作った曲を、イエロー・マジック・バンドが演奏したLPアルバム「コチンの月（COCHIN MOON）」がリリースされたが、ジャケットは私が撮ったインド映画の看板を横尾忠則がコラージュした作品だった。
